At Tammi's Pocket Flock, we raise and breed Kikirikis, d’Uccles, and other select breeds and crosses in Lakeville, Massachusetts.

We focus on healthy, interesting birds with great personalities, unique color, and the kind of character that makes a flock memorable.

What We Offer

Availability changes throughout the season and depends on what the flock is producing.

Looking for chicks without buying whatever happens to be sitting in a brooder?

Many of our chicks are hatched on request. That allows us to hatch in smaller batches and better match what people are actually looking for. Because hatch rates and nature are never guaranteed, timing and availability will vary.

A recent "hatch on demand" request - Indio Gigantes. Here is one of the IGs (1 week) pictured next to a 3 week old Kikiriki.

And guess what, as of 8/29 we have more IGs in the incubator scheduled to hatch 9/10/26.

We may have:

Hatching eggs
Chicks hatched on request
Started pullets
Cockerels
Occasionally older birds

Because we hatch in small numbers, availability is always limited.

Our Breeding Focus

Kikirikis

The little birds at the heart of Tammi’s Pocket Flock Brigade.

Kikirikis are tiny, confident, full of personality, and impossible to overlook. We breed for beautiful color, interesting feathering, and friendly temperaments.

d’Uccles

Beards, boots, color, and plenty of charm.

Our d’Uccles are raised for their sweet personalities and the classic features that make this little Belgian breed such a favorite.

Other Select Breeds & Projects

We also maintain additional breeding groups and occasional project crosses.

Depending on the season, that may include American Bresse, Seramas, Appenzeller Spitzhauben crosses, and other standard or bantam breeds we’re working with.
